Discovered by Vital Music Records in 2008 after a college roommate handed them her homemade paper bag covered recordings, Angela has been an significant part of the Columbus music scene.
In 2009, Perley formed Angela Perley & The Howlin’ Moons and has since released three EP’s with the group under Vital Music Records. Their latest EP release, Fireside, has gained national attention in the UK and promises new hope and direction for the the band in 2012.
Perley has also gained recognition with popular side project,The Salty Caramels, a local all girl trio. Angela’s songwriting is honest, simple, and soulful, and continues to point out that Perley is a force to watch out for in the upcoming years.
